MNTL Home is a homeowner companion app operated by Oikos United LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). Our app is available at mntlapp.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@mntlapp.com.
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. Here is what that includes:

We do not use your data to serve advertisements. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes. Ever.
We work with the following vendors to operate the service. Each receives only the data necessary to perform their function.

MNTL Home is gifted to you by your real estate agent. As a result, your sponsoring agent can view the following through their agent portal:
Your agent cannot view your financial data, mortgage details, payment history, uploaded documents, AI conversations, or any other private home content.
Regardless of where you live, you may:
Virginia residents have additional rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA), including the right to appeal a denial of your request. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is sold (we sell none) and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

MNTL Home uses minimal browser storage. We use session storage and local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences within a session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels of any kind.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side-only database access (your data is never directly exposed to the browser), and access controls on all administrative systems. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
MNTL Home is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
